Ok, so awhile back I bought JDM tails for my 99 Legacy L wagon. I received them in the mail and the center garnish was chipped in a few places, because of bad packing. I decided to keep it because I got them for a great deal and you don't really notice the chips unless you are up close. Anywayz, I found another JDM center garnish for sale and can't decide what to get...

a. new JDM center garnish in perfect condition

or

b. Hella 500 Foglights or Hella 500 Driving Lights

Awwww what should I do yO?

Where do you intend to put the fogs/driving lights? Your cut outs aren't exactly suited to them unless you mount them in front of the grill. Depends on how much those chips bother you. Its hard to find the garnish for sale by itself, so if the chips bother you, then get the garnish. You might try aiming your headlights a little higher, that helped mine alot, just don't go too high or it'll hurt your vision and blind other drivers.

BTW, the hella 500 fogs will outshine your headlights. They put out ample amounts of light, and you can run them on the street without much conflict, but driving lights will completely blind on coming traffic. My vote as far as hellas is for fogs.

So center garnish, and fix the motor

Haha what are you still doing up, lol... it's nearly 1am!

Anywayz, thank you captain obvious, lol, I knew the foglights wouldn't fit there. I planned on putting the Hellas right below the grill in that gap I have. i was thinking about making a light bar so i could mount 4 hellas there and also I would be able to get rid of that gap.
See the chips don't bug me that much but at times they do... so basically I guess I'm trying to say that yes I hate having a cracked center garnish. But at the same times I hate having no foglights and really want more lighting on the front of my car... kinda like my past Impreza.
My headlight adjustment thingy is broken I believe so I just keep my lights set on bright. Ya, not the nicest thing to do, but they are perfect height when they are set on high.
And about my motor... I really do need to get that fixed... I'm setting up an official time down at Suba Performance for a Compression and Leak Down test sometime this week.
