02 bugeye. got one hell of a deal on it. car came with an aem intake and a stromong axle back. so far i put a set of stock tails in it (had a set of altezza's), painted the wheels (which will need to be redone come spring), and put hella bulbs in the headlights and fogs. i've got some plans for the car but so far, it's been a blast to drive.

not bad for a winter/daily driver huh?

Nice ride bro - looks like my 2004 a bit :-)

Now....

Ditch the intake because it's not doing the car any good, remove all the cats or get a turbo back exhaust with high flow cats, get a cobb accessport for tuning, get a set of grounding wires, front and rear swaybars, prodrive springs, and enjoy your better handling and 60 more hp over stock LOL. good luck bro! - Dan

PS - serously the intake is BAD for the car - makes it run very very rich without engine management. Get rid of it.

ECU reset is effective enough in making the car adapt fuel maps.

02-03's had better adaptive strategies than the later years... car isn't running very rich at all (it pays to be close friends with a subaru mechanic)

as for the rest, car will be getting a turbo xs up pipe, rsr catless turboback, cobb accessport, group n engine, tranny, and pitchstopper, hotchkis sway bars, dms coilovers (it's my winter car and i'd rather have adjustability than just being slammed all the time), 17" rota boosts, and a few other things.

my cavalier is still my priority... it WILL be boosted this winter.

That's true.

They're quite a bit lighter than the 04-07s.

nice WRX... paint those sideskirts, ditch the AEM intake and get the stock intake w/out the snorkle, drop a K&N panel filter in there, get a bellmouth downpipe and a full cat. less exhaust.... then get a UTEC or similar ECU reflash.

Forget the K&N filter. Dynos show that they're not really very effective.

intake will stay. car runs fine with it.

car just got a 3" catless hks downpipe and a full 3" catless apexi exhaust today. turbo xs up pipe goes on this weekend along with a few other bits.
