What are the best bulbs to replace in stock 95 Legacy headlights ?...Thanks

its a subjective question. Depends on how you like your light. I like my yellowstars in the rain and snow, but in dry they aren't great at all. There is a thread on here that is relatively recent with people chiming in with what bulbs they've used and how they like them. danielsternlighting.com has a good selection of quality bulbs.

Where do you live, that'd help with whether you need a good incliment weather bulb.

Hella makes good bulbs. Stay away from Silverstars. I didn't like them in dry or wet.

Sylvania Halogen Xtravisions are pretty decent. They're also known as Osram Silverstars.

Sylvania Silverstars = crap (blue tinted Halogen light)

and to keep this post on topic, I'm set with the Sylvania ones, I just had one burn out 6 months old in my projectors. Big thumbs down.

It gets cold and lonely up here :-(

As for my reccomendation, Hella Optilux XP bulbs are excellently white, I love them in my projectors :grin:

silverstars ain't worth a lick here as well. They get completely drowned out in the wet.

Oh yea.. i got silvania silverstars.. i think they are good. A bit expensive for what they are.. but i think they are decent over stock bulbs, and i havent had any problems with mine yet!

My Hella Optilux XPs are way brighter and whiter than Silverstars. I am really impressed by how truly white they are.

PIAA lights are too.

PIAA lights are whiter, but they hotspot more (uneven distribution of light across the beam pattern). They're also severely overpriced for what they are IMO.
