rear door speakers?

was there a trim option for BD/BGs that had rear door speakers. i noticed that my rear doors had what looked like a spot for speaker vents but i may be mistaken.

I have a BD and though I'm not 100% sure if some models came with them or not (mine didn't and its a GT) you can add them, fairly easy too!

Here's a couple of pictures of my install, there is a hole cut out in the door behind the panel that will seat a 6 1/2" speaker :cool:

I thought sedans had them on the back deck?

My wagon has them in the rear doors, of course.

well mine are on the back deck.. No space in doors.

yea mine are on the back deck. i guess i should have said did they ever come with a 6 speaker system. and good choice on the type r speakers. ill have to custom some up then.

Is there a difference between wagon and sedan door card? I've never really looked at a wagon one to compare...

My wondering is that the used the same door card between the two vehicles and the application decided where the speaker would be put? Be it rear doors or rear deck? Maybe not...
