Hello to all,
My name's Connor Rickman and I drive a 98 Outback limited wagon that I named "Major Tom" in honor of the David Bowie character. My name is in decalls on the windshield and "Major Tom" is written in right above the front grill.
I'm 18 years old and have been driving Major Tom ever since my 16th birthday (and even before than, during my training days). Needless to say I'm very attached to this car, it handles great in the snow around Salt Lake City.
A lot of my friends drive Subaru's, we have several Outback's a few legacys and a couple Imprezas as well. We created what we call the 'SS" or Subaru Squad, my friend Jordan came up with the idea and he's Jewish so it's all in good taste. Plus we're not easily offended.
So far I've only performed some interior mods, making the switches light up red, as well as the gauge cluster, I may need some new switches though, I screwed them up really bad, the cluster on the other hand looks great. Eventually I plan on replacing the front bumper with that of a Legacy GT and getting new rims and tires. A K&N and new intake/exhaust would be nice, as well as a new black paint job and removal of dents. But what I'd really like is some custom suede seat inserts, new floor mats, headliner and custom aluminum and carbon dash. A killer sound system wouldn't hurt either. The interior is where i spend my time, I'd like it to be nice. If you guys have any suggestions let me know. Thanks.
