Its about 34F here in Oregon, not that cold but it seems after I drive the car for 5-10 minutes and then park it and arm the alarm it will go off by its self about 5 minutes after setting the alarm. It seems to do this only when its some what cold out.
Does anyone else have this problem in the colder areas??

Is this a factory alarm? We've had 20 degree days in Detroit and my alarm is fine; aftermarket though.

Its the stock alarm with the upgrade option I believe. It uses the stock arm and disarm unit but it has a siren and a shock sensor or are those aftermarket?

yea pretty sure its aftermarket...dun think it comes with shock sensors.
i would check the wiring...it happened on my previous car. its either bad connection with the wires or something else is up from the temp drop.
Not everyone do the labor on the cars correctly especially if its not their own or doing it without knowing what they're doing. I would say follow the wires to see if they are secure and also check the connection. It maybe loose or old wires maybe?
I guess if it keeps happening...im not sure take it to a shop and see if they can find whats wrong with it...juss go to shops...ask them whats wrong...and dont ask them to fix it...go to couple other shops for different opinions since many shops (not all) are dishonest and just want to replace expensive parts and scam ppl who are clueless. But when u go to the shop dont suggest whats wrong with it just tell them the problem you are having so they can figure it out themselves what's wrong. If the shops agree to a conclusion...find a good mechanic or DIY.
That's just my advice. goodluck.

Yeah it only happens here and there but it is annoying when it does happen. Alrams are the one thing I know hardly anything about. I can wire up a stereo and amps and lights and pretty much anything else but alarms.
