so, i'm going to be getting a timing belt job. what are some other "while they're in there" things i should ask about for a 120k mile ej22?

water pump, timing belt tensioner for sure!!

oil pump, water pump, thermostat, accessory belts, coolant flush (oil change is normal), front crank seal, timing belt tensioner.

what Huffer said, and I'd do cam seals while in there, too.

If you're thinking about a lightened crank pulley, that'd be a good time, as it has to come off anyway.

I'd assume this goes for a ej25 sohc too?

Well, we were thinking about stuff in the area of the timing belt. But yeah, as long as you're doing stuff.

Thats a good amount of money there, unless you're doing it yourself.

yeah, no i just got like...2 tranny flushed in the last 40k

Both times I had my timing belt I did the following;

Headgaskets
cam seals
crank seals
timing belt
acc. belts
waterpump (the first HG change) now my pump is going
Perrin Pulley (2nd HG change)
radiator flush (who knows if they really did it)
oil change

I think that was everything, could be missing something.
