Should I paint the wheels? I like how they look as they are, but I'm wondering if they would look better another color. Satin black?

It would be easy to paint them since I have another set of wheels to use while painting.

I think they look great in aluminum. If the finish on them is scratched up/pitted, then you could get some Duplicolor High Performance Wheel Coating in aluminum. This color is amazing and as long as you take your time with layers it looks good all the way until your nose is touching the rim. I painted some truck wheels with this stuff.

If you get a daylight pic, someone will photoshop you different colors.

I wouldn't do it unless the paint on the wheels are in poor condition as it is.

Though you can get decent results with painting rims. It's all in the prep work. Lots of sanding, cleaning, and masking. The painting is really the easiest part of the whole process.

Gold is another option I'm considering. After doing a WRX engine/trans swap, I'm probably going to paint the car WRB and debadge it.

The wheels are actually in really good condition. No real scratches or curbing, just a little brake dust on the front from the previous owner. Going to wash the car later today or tomorrow when I get time.
