I painted all the caps black, and those "sti" caps aren't bad if you don't put on the cheesy sticker. Then it's a decent aluminum cap that seals well for $5.

I had a blue STi cap on my STi and it looked good. I am a little embarrased to say though that my Leg is sporting a polished STi cap that I bought for the STi first before getting the blue one. I know it looks somewhat out of place on a Leg, but IMO it looks better than the stock yellow plastic cap.

Yeah I used to look up tons of stuff for my 92 Integra I had. Before the BE I was seriously looking into a used RSX (ooohhhh the JDM possibilities...)and selling the BD, but I felt I'd miss driving a Subie too much, and I think I made the right choice :grin:

Anyway, yeah, ADR's are good cruising rims. If you want something that looks pretty nice on a budget they'll do just fine...just don't expect them to be BBS's or high-end Enkei's or something...

Well to be honest, I knew about ADR's more than Rota's...though mainly because ADR does support a wider variety of imports (mainly the FWD compact market). The point is though, they've been around for a while, so it's not like they make absolute trash. If you have to absolutely buy new (an argument that I'll save for another day), and you are on a real tight budget for your daily driver, then ADR's make good sense.

Heck, I run Volution 17" wheels on the MPV in NYC; I drive that through potholes and more bad roads than most people have driven on this side of the US, and it's still perfectly fine after 2 years.

I've been thinking bout buying some Centerlines for my GT-B. 17X7's at 12 lbs. ea., forged and about $550 for all four. I bet the "JDM" people will be all upset about me putting hotrod wheels on a Legacy.

My brother has 18" ADR wheels on his Eclipse. Took them to a tire shop to have new tires put on them and they cracked one of the wheels around the hub/lug area. They're ordering a replacement now. Just something to think about, because I never had that trouble out of my MBMotorsports wheels, and I think I got those from Discount Tire Direct for like $130 each, and free shipping.

I've never heard of a wheel cracking unless it was due to an accident, large pot hole, or some other form of abuse... There isn't much force being put on the wheel when mounting a tire. You would put more force on it taking a corner in your car. That's really what you need to think about.
