Happy New Year. I have just come across yout forum which looks superb.

I have just bought my second Legacy, a 98 RS 2.0L twin turbo. Its one impressive motor :lol: .

I bought it 4 weeks ago and have had it converted to run on LPG for economy reasons. Still pushing about 260-270 bhp though.

The gas is 105-106 octane so the engine is happier than when it lived on Japanese 101. Their is no loss of performance or economy from what i can see so far. :grin: (although i haven't even used one full tank yet).

The thing on top of the battery is the ecu for the lpg system. Just behind the air intake is a 'flashlube' system that makes sure the valves get lubed, as they would from petrol anyway. Its a refillable system but one bottle of 500ml's lasts about 10000 miles so its not too bad.

The interior is not original. Its from a much later car, but fits well. The wheels are aftermarket ones and could do with a refurb tbh.
