After having driven only sports cars my whole life (Celica, 320i, WRX, STi), the wagon just isn't cutting it anymore. I would love to replace it with a WRX, but with a kid on the way that ain't going to happen. So the modding bug has caught up to me. I just ordered a whiteline front swaybar kit, RalliTEK tranny mount, and a set of Hella Supertones.

Now I am looking for a rear swaybar kit (if Whiteline makes them), front tower brace (unlike the WRX and STi, the Leg probably could benefit from this - not just cosmetic), end links, lowering kit, etc. The PITA is that not to many of these products are specifically for the Legacy, so I need to find out "what fits" from the Impreza parts bin. Any suggestions for a BH?

Most of the front suspension pieces can fit. The rears are multilink, so it'll have to be BE/BH specific. Next step for you would probably be some Bilstein B4 takeoffs; good compromise between handling and ride (since I assume your significant other and family isn't going to be enjoying rattling their teeth with some coilovers).

Also steering rack bushings. Well worth the $20-30.

ALso, I'd go with the rear strut bar only, and only after I've added all the other suspension bits to the car. The BE/BH cars are pretty solid in chassis construction; I didn't notice a thing with the front strut bar on mine. The open cargo area in the back probably lessens rigidity though.

Thanks for the help guys. I also picked up a spherical bearing endlink kit from the guy I bought the Supertones and front bar on eBay from, so I am off to a good start. The rear sway bar will be next, along with a front and rear strut tower bar (a quick release rear so I can still haul dishwashers, construction materials, and a twin matress for camping).

Yes Lee - another one on the way. Soon to be another Subie enthusiast in the world - my 3 1/2 year old son already can spot any Subaru model from a distance and knows what it is (he usually spots it before I do). This is my second, so I still have room for one more :wink: . I need to get as much as I can for my car before my wife goes on materity leave though, so I need to get buying.

IPD make a rear swaybar.

The front strut brace is pointless (yes, I'm serious) but the rear strut brace for the wagon is GOLD. It does more than springs do, to help reduce body flex.
