Oil leaks.. should I be worried?

I was underneath my car today and well, noticed a few oil leaks.

I change my oil ever 4000km and there's only about 1/2 litre missing.. which I think is normal. There's a few spots that are saturated in oil.. I'm not sure if these are simple gasket replaces, I hope so :cry:

Looks to be your valve cover gaskets and your oil pan. both leak really slow so no worries

i got a leak, i am not sure if thats why my engine bay is always hot, i mean u can feel the heat from under the hood, i gettin that fixed tomorrow, last thing i want is something to happen to me on the road.

Edit: had the leak for almost 8 months now :P but no porblems at all but just to be on the safe side, imma fix it...hope it isnt 2 expensive :(

personaly if its not burning it, and its only leaking it a little, i wouldnt get worried.

The engine bay is supposed to be hot, dude ;)

As for the leak...check and see how much oil you lose between oil changes...if it's not a whole lot, don't worry about it.

I have a slow leak from the front cam/crank seal (not sure which one). I'm going to have it done when I get the timing belt / water pump job done.

I have similar leaks from both valve covers and also around the oil pan.

Not too worried as I check the oil level frequently, and it's only ever around 4qts at change time - supposed to be 4.5qts inc filter.

I will get the problem fixed when the engine is replaced after the wedding.

Thats pretty darn clean compared to my motor. I wouldn't worry. You could change your valve cover gaskets pretty easily, if you have a 2.2. 2.5 is probably more tricky.

Those pics look just like how my engine looks, mine is a little more oily though, front seal is leaking very slowly, enough to make a mess, but no noticeable oil loss.
