how do you remove the boot spoiler off your car, so far i have taken out 4 bolts, but it still wont come off, i can't see any other bolts to take out, does anyone have any pictures of the holes with the spoiler removed??

It should only be 4 bolts, if I remember right thats how many I removed when I took my spoiler off.

yeah thats what i thought as well, but no matter how much we try and lift and unclip it, it just won't move.

Well you have a crazy spoiler on yours don't you? Maybe there's some extra holes drilled somewhere...does anything go along the center of the boot? A stop lamp or anything that may have been wired through a drilled hole in the center?

Also depending on who put it on it could be bonded(glued) as well as the screws. We ran into that taking the spoiler off my buddies STi. We ended up just swapping trunks with a dude who had an unspoilered WRX and wanted one.

nope, no lights or anything in the spoiler, and cant see any other holes in the boot.

Also depending on who put it on it could be bonded(glued) as well as the screws
yeah it was glued down, but we got pretty much all of that off.


this is where it is still holding on, we think it is clips, but when we try and pull it the whole boot seems to lift up.

Yeah I'd say glue then, which is why you see people going and buying wingless boot lids and selling theirs with wings. Its much easier to swap the whole thing then to pry it off without damaging the top of the boot.

ill have your old one... ive got one with a USDM GT spoiler... it white... but oh wait im poor and live VERY far away... sniffle

yeah id say find someone with a lower model legacya nd swap em... i see peeps with STis doing it all the time... if you dont like the spoiler do that.
