I seem to have ignored this section completely. Sorry guys :-?
Well Im a newbie with a scoobie. 95 L wagon to be exact. I used to be a rotar head (couple 7s before and a rotary truck) but i needed something more reliable/practical/bigger. I've always liked wagons, Legacy wagons especially (almost went honda accord). Its high mileage but the EJ22 goes forever, right? RIGHT!

Welcome! Glad you didnt go to the accord side! While i love most honda cars, i hate the accord line. If it wasnt for mine almost being stolen every week, being an overweight pig, and slower than death.. i might not hate that line of cars so much!

but regardless.. welcome!

You can pass an EJ22 down to your grandchildren.

...being an overweight pig...

2004 Accord 2.4L 4dr curbweight (4EAT) - 3059
2005 Legacy GT 4dr curbweight (4EAT) - 3300
2004 Legacy GT 4dr curbweight (4EAT) - 3550
1999 Legacy GT 4dr curbweight (4EAT) - 3200

:-?

And it's interior is much more plush than a Legacy...

It would be nice to see one last that long. I doubt they would want it

thats a big diff. i was referring to the accord wagon tho. i wonder what those comparisons are...lets say the 94-97/8 vs. BG wagon

Sedan - 2855
Wagon - 3053

That's from the 97MY

A 97 GT wagon would be 3250 or so.
A sedan would be just under 3200.

So the accord wagon + an AWD system would be about the same as the 97 GT wagon.

Theres a difference between fat and muscle.. come on now!

I just hate accords.. not so sure about the newer ones.. but i had a 97.. and yea, they are CRAP. If you like having your car broken into every other week, or dealing with the fat pig.. by all means.. buy one! .. i have owned plenty of cars, and the accord was by far the most spineless, soul-less car i have ever owned. Altho it was good for some ebrake slides =]

If you hadn't mentioned the name of the car you were talking about, I would've guessed a buick

I always thought Accords were more fun than Camrys. Camrys were the lowest of the low for fun factor and personality.

True. The legacy is carrying around an AWD system ;)

Welcome to the site! Lots of stuff to learn

FWIW, my friend had a very rare honda accord (96 wagon with a manual), and it was a very fun car with surprising pick up. He crashed it into a highway barrier so he could avoid hitting a stopped car and totaled it (snow storm, couldn't get around the car).

Anyway, your very first modification should be a rear sway bar from an outback or a 93-94 legacy SS. Trust me. Best $30-50 investment.

Thanks for the tip. I should be coming up on one of those this weekend ;)
