GT-B suspension installed!

Well, I finall did it. The JDM Legacy GT-B suspension is completely installed. Handling is definitely improved, though my current tires aren't quite a match for the stiffer suspension. I also had to put my feeble stock rear sway bar back on because the aftermarket one would hit the exhaust whenever the rear supension compressed more than an inch or so. I think some shorter end links will solve this problem. Anyway, here are the pics!:

dont get me wrong,it really does look like a good set,but something with a low outback dosent look right to me.personaly i think that if you want to do something to an outback,it should be giving it more height,but thats only my opinion of course...

Yeah. I get that alot. People say, "just buy a LGT". But I like the power of the H6 and the rear LSD.

The H6 is really nice, though. ;) I almost ended up getting one, found an older one for cheap, it had some issues though. I didn't get it because of the automatic. :(

i guess i see where your coming from.its probably cheaper to get suspension changed on a car then to add LSD and H6 to a car.

it also depends where you live,for example i could never get my car lowered here in winnipeg unless i could have another car thats raised a bit.
snow and ice don't get a long very well with low cars...

Suspension is not as stiff as I thought it would be. Handling is still much improved, but it's hardly any harsher than the stock OB suspension. The Bilstein dampers make all the difference.

What suspension setup would you say its comparable too? Any? Or is this the first suspension setup you have put on this car? Looks great either way, and i bet it will be nicer once you get some new rubber!

This is the first new suspension I've put on the car. I've never driven any other Legacys, either so I can't compare. In a couple of years I'll probably pick up some fully adjustable coilovers for maximum stiffness.

So I never understood this. Why do people put criss crosses over their lights? If its to prevent chips/cracks, there's alot of area of the light not covered...

If it breks, the glass doesn't fly everywhere. I just kinda like the look.

Wouldn't it be easier to just get some RockBlocker film (http://www.rockblocker.com/)? Then you wouldn't have to worry as much about the glass actually breaking.
