Replaced Battery, car wont stop flashing

So i replaced the battery and now the car's front lights and brake lights blink every second or so.

I tried driving it a few miles to see if would go away, but its still blinking right now.

I also tried hitting every single button in the car, all to no avail.

Its a 98 LGT 5 speed

Do you have remote keyless entry?

If so, turn the car off, close the door, and cycle the locks - lock the car using the remote, and unlock it again.

That should clear the problem.

also, dig yon finger in behind the hood release, that's where the kill/program button is too.

there is also a proceedure for resetting the alarm (can't be done by unplugging usually). Let me know if the above doesn't work and I'll try to get the info for you.
