Alright, so since I installed my lower suspension, I had to take my aftermarket rear sway off because it was tapping the exhaust whenever the rear suspension compressed about an inch or so. I believe that shorter enlinks are the solution. I was looking at the Whiteline adjustable endlink for BE/BH Legacy (pn KLC044) and it says it's adjustable from 86mm-106mm. This is no good as my stock enlinks are 90mm, I need much shorter links. Is there anything from other Subaru models that I can use? I'm thinking maybe around 70mm would be good, although I'd like something adjustable so I can get it just right. Any ideas?

Miata endlinks.

There should be a thread around here (Rougeben83 would be the OP) about them.

If not, check Nasioc for it. I know that was his solution to get shorter endlinks.

Apparently aftermarket sways are a real PITA to fit with all that extra multilink suspension back there.

Yeah, I just went on NASIOC and it was Roughben who did it. But for some reason he went with longer miata endlinks. I'm pretty sure I want shorter. Hmm, if he's not in this thread by tomorrow, I'm gonna PM him.

I went with longer ones because my bar was hitting the lateral links (the two long arms going that go from around the rear diff area to the lower portion of the wheel hubs), so I needed endlinks that would move the swaybar arms upwards instead of downwards.

Double check if your bar is actually hitting the exhaust, it maybe the same problem as mine. The lowest the miata endlinks can go is around 3.75"/95mm (stock is 3.5" IIRC, or 90mm). I have it set at 4"/100mm currently.

You can make your own endlinks from this thread:
http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthre ... t=endlinks (http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51525&highlight=endlinks)

You can piece together the ends and the center threaded section according to whatever size you need, and viola you got yourself an adjustable endlink.

STi endlinks (note STi only) may work if you want a shorter endlink, but it may be too short for what you're looking for. Measurement is under 3", I think 2 3/4" off the top of my head but I'll need to pull the PM from an STi guy that was selling his.

Oh, okay, I was thinking you had that "C" endlink for some reason.

Ben, got pictures of yours installed and where they were hitting exactly?

Oh hey, and I see you posted these on LGT as possible solutions: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf%5Fid=42263&dept%5Fid=1845 Have you confirmed that these would work? They look perfect and the price is right. Is the through-bolt the right size? How long/how adjustable is the endlink?

I made a set like that back in the old days when I had my neon. They worked pretty well!

See the gray paint in the pic? That's where the bar was hitting the lateral arm/link. I thought it was the exhaust on mine too, until I saw the bare metal area on the lateral links with small dents in them. You can try wrapping the two arms of the swaybar ( |___/----\_______| <----the upwards part are the "arms") in rubber hose to see if that will stop the noise. That's what I made due with for a couple of months until I sourced some longer endlinks. You should see where your bar is making contact first to double check because if you go with too short an endlink, odds are you may put the bar's arms closer to the links and they'll hit.

I'm not sure what the length is of those corvette ones. A couple of STi guys on NASIOC posted them and they were discussing if those would work. Those look exactly like the Hotchkis adjustable front endlinks that I have on my desk right now; the Hotchkis ones can go up to a little over 3" (~76-78mm), and they can also be used on the rear of our cars.

The bolts on our cars are 10mm x 1.5 pitch (I had to buy some from home depot when I did mine), you'll need to double check if whatever solution you come up with uses that size bolt as well.

Well, I just through the IPD bar back on and had a friend jump on the rear end, and yep, it's hittin' the lateral arms. Looks like it's Whiteline adjustable BE/BH endlinks for me. Now I just need to find a good deal on 'em.

Has anyone tried these to solve the IPD RSB problem

And if so is the going rate around $105.
