Hi Guys,

I was wondering if you can help me out.. i want to change the t-belt on my 97 L Wagon.. its a 5 speed 4WD. I got a list of all the recommended parts to change out from subaruparts.com... but the price of all the parts was over 500 dollars.. so I'm wondering what do i really need to change out?

Amongst a bunch of miscellaneous gaskets, t-stat, etc, they also recommended i change the following:

1 tensioner
1 tension adjuster
2 belt idlers
1 belt idler number 2

These were the big hitters and I'd just like ot know at 100K miles if it is necessary to change the things i listed above?

Thanks!

Change the crank seal and cam seals since it's out. I'd would do a new water pump to for shits.

If it isn't exspensive I would. I didn't both times I had my Headgaskets replaced.
