Oil Pressure/Temp Gauge Quesions

Ok, Im looking at putting Autometer Oil Pressure and Temp Gauges in the GT...

Honestly, I dont know much about the difference of Mechanical and Electric gauges (which one is more accurate, or more durable)

I assume the Electrical would be easier to install (just take out a Galley Plug, tap n Dye, install the new bung, run wires)



anyone have any sugguestions/ advice?

dont know if you still need this, but the electrical is more accurate. aslo with electrical you will not have oil in the cabin. mechanical gauges bring fluids into the cabin. if they go they might bring toxic fluids into the cabin while you are driveing.

And some racing organizations don't allow mechanical gauges for that exact reason (safety/fire hazard)
