Debadging!

Okay, today I bit the bullet and began debadging the rear gate. The "AWD" and "H6 3.0" emblems were a breeze. The "Outback" emblem has two holes behind it. Here's how the trunk looks now:

Here's where the Outback badge used to be:

I have a few options here:

1. Figure out how to get the little bleck plastic gromets out, fill the holes with bondo, and paint. But how do I get these little things out? (the little black things)

2. Cover the holes with the AWD badge I took off. But what should I use to restick the badge? Where can I find said adhesive?

3. Go to dealer and buy either chrome Legacy badge or chrome Outback badge to put in it's place. Will these badges come with the adhesive stuff already applied?

I would go buy a Legacy or Outback badge...

Im sure they come with some 3M adheasive, but ask just to make sure..

You could also stick an SL-I sticker over it. I have a similar situation as you and I thought about doing that.

I put the AWD badge over mine. I painted it black to match my car. Double sided tape works fine.

white electrical tape..... i still havnt covered those wholes on mine yet...

Well, I'm on the hunt for JDM Legacy badging. Let me know if you guys come across anything. The best thing I've found so far is a "Blitzen" badge for $25.

Okay, I just test fitted the AWD emblem over the holes and here's how it looks:

What do you guys think? Try the "smoked" badge, or leave it as it is? Also, What's some good double sided tape I should get?
