Can I swap the block from my EJ22 to the 22T block with a 2.5 head and use my intake and exhaust manifolds, along with all the sensors off my EJ22 harness?

Yes, it'll be a much lower CR than your EJ22E block, so you'll see reduced performance unless you turbo.

yes, you'd need to get a turbo kit for an NA motor still though, you just might be able to pump the boost up a bit. You can also use any other turbo block, the fact that the EJ22 and EJ22t have the same displacement is really the only significant similarity. All your stuff will work on any of the 3, if i remember correctly.

So basically if i just wanted to turbo what i've got i could swap everthing i have onto a EJ22t block but use a set of 2.5 heads on it? The use all of my stock stuff (sensors, harness, intake)?

Could it work? yes. Is it better than your other options? no. its a bit more complicated than it sounds. And you could use your 2.2 heads. and you could use a regular ej20t block, theyre easier to track down and newer. You'd need a full turbo kit and engine management, as well as several other things; a lot of modification would have to be done. It's not an easy solution to turbo, otherwise people would be doing it. If you're mechanically inclined, you're better off swapping; doing the mechanics yourself and sending your two wiring harnesses off to somewhere like www.eastcoastswappers.com (http://www.eastcoastswappers.com) and having them spliced for you.
