i might have the chance to buy a 97 2.5 and i'd want to rebuild it, ground up. every gasket, every bearing, every seal. rings and all. where could i find such kit?
local subaru dealer of course, but the ones around here suck, so i figured i'd ask if anyone has a specific place they like dealing with.
thanks!

i was going for OE subaru stuff... if they can make the parts good enough to deal wtih my abuse, i'll def follow through
i saw those on ebay, but i would have no human contact, and i don't like that. i like having someone who has to answer to me.

True.. your going to pay more for 'human contact' though. Maybe you can buy a complete rebuild kit from the guy on here who works at a subaru store? He might be able to get them for you for cheap!

you could also try SubieGal (Jamie Thomas) @ Chaplins Subaru/SubaruGenuineParts.com (I think).

i was actually using jamie's $182 master gasket set as the guideline for that.

I'd go through Mike, he's more likely to get all the stuff for you for cheap.
