i'm planning on getting a whole new exhaust system for my car and getting the hi flow cat section with a deleted second cat at boxer4racing.com. my question is, is there anything i can get to keep from getting a CEL from the o2 sensor. from what i've read alot of people get that when they install the hi flow cats or have just the one cat on the exhaust. could anyone give me advice on this. maybe an o2 simulator or wide band o2 sensor could fix it.

boxer4racing has bungs for o2 sensors. Best bet is to call when you oder and talk to them. I always got great help over there.

Rallitek also sell the GP Moto spacer.

Also, if you want to DIY, just look up the "spark plug anti-fouler" solution. It works also.

Basically, you're just removing the rear O2 sensor from the exhaust stream somewhat, so it's reading less turbulence and flow - thus preventing a P0420 error.

I think I remember seeing them in the HELP! section of autozone too.

If you don't have emissions testing you can simply wrap the end of the 02 sensor in tin foil and reinsert it. Or not put it in the pipe at all and zip tie it to the undercarraige somewhere.
