Leaving work a few nights ago... just doing a quick walkaround and took a pic of the car before I left.

Once a day, not 6 times a day each time I go to my car.

I always use my lights, so I'd have a good idea if they weren't working.

Usually, no though.

I try to. But I often forget. I do let the car idle for at least 5 minutes in the morning to warm up, though.

I look over my car all the time!

+1. I usually do it the night before I go anywhere, or after I get home.

I don't do checks, but always so a quick look or stare when I get out. Like when a hot chic walks by, you need that last glance. lol

I don't do one. Either coz I'm too spaced out, tired, or don't have time.

There's no need to warm up your car for 5 minutes though. Any more than 30 seconds is just wasting gas, honestly.

not when your forecast looks like this:

That's what it is here. Nasty weather.

Yesterday, I took a friend to go pick up pizza, I was idling in the parking lot (it's windy) and the temp guage started dropping as soon as I stopped driving it

I've read alot of the warm up arguments and the biggest consensus I found, even from turbo owners is 30 seconds to a minute is the most you need. So start the car up, get your seat belt on, get a good song going on the mp3 player, and you should almost be good to go. The transmission won't warm up until you start driving, and I know in this weather it's almost impossible to get into second/first after I've taken it out of a gear. I just keep it below 2500 RPM's and cruise nice and easy until the temperatures come up.

Yeah, going from 1st to second yesterday (before the tranny warmed up) was like arm wrestling a troll.

When it is cold I give it a 15 warm up So when I get on the road my heater is working. Screw saving gas and all that BS. I'm going to be worm on the way to work. Next car gets a remote starter so I don't have to walk out there and start it.
