i have been looking at coilovers and springs, i am leaning to coilovers but i just wwanted to get peopels opinion before i did anything becasue my brother has an 1999 Audi A4 and he bought Tein lowering springs and they lowered him so much you cant even fit a fist under his car (caused alot of problems as you could guess, like no more oil pan lol dumbass) i dont want ot make the same mistake as him and just go buy something without guidence. does anyone have any suggestions on certain coilovers or springs

Thanks

I'd look through readers rides. There's quite a few running drops of different varieties. Here's a good thread with pictures and generally what setup they are running:

I'd go with coilovers if you've got the money. Ride height adjustable ftw.

I've got a set of Megan Street coilovers already fitted to my BG Outback. I love them for everyday driving and they hold up excellent on the track.
