Is the H6 only in the Outback sedan for those years?

Junk yard.. you should just part it out.. you would probably make a lot more.

I would do that but takes a lot of time to dissasemble and ship items not really in the mood i will take my speakers and coilovers off the car. And i will sell coilovers later. I will sell the car privately if any1 wants it. it still drives i just lost my brakes on monday and dented front right fender and broke corner light. master cylinder cost like 250 to put new one. And yay i have brakes but no more excitement about fixin the car. i mean it runs fine without thermostat i can top my speedo at anytime but 270k its just enough in my opinion. some things just keep brakin and braking I think im fed up with all little thing that i need to fix so it will be easier just to bring to a junk yard. It deserves to rest in peace.
The H6 came as sedan or wagon its just im not a wagon fan.

Why is it going to a junkyard? Is it not resellable?
because a junkyard isn't going to give you very much for it.

I just realized eventhough im going to get sedan H6 and it looks like a legacy-------- it is not a legacy. That leads me to think that I am not gonna be able to post pics of my ride in the rides 1 only in rides 2. And im not goin to own a legacy anymore ( well afeter i sell my BD). And subaruotback.org is going to be the only refuge for me.

I mean ill probably post anyway and rebadge the car as a legacy and the vin says BE. Its just sucks that Fuji had to separate outbacks from legacies, its pretty much the same cars especcially with H4s. its just BG's had Legacy Outback as a name now its just outback and outback sport. I think it should still be legacy outback and impreza outback.

Well now ,the outback sedan should be a nice improvement over your current car. Lets go cruisin when you get it  . This site however is still a refuge for legacys/outbacks alike. I'v seen at least one other member have the H6.

Silent why would you ever say that I absolutely love my BD and yes Be is newer and H6 is more powerfull and doesnt have blown HG but if I didnt bend my right front fender the other week i would've fixed HG and kept riding it so please dont say it will be an improvement i never said a bad thing about BE
ps. when ill get the new one will definately make 4 VS 6 cyl testing...

Is just the fender bent? Or is other stuff wacked too? I mean, if its that small of a repair.. how hard can it be? HG might be harder by far.. and fenders arent too expensive.. not as much as a new car!

I didn't mean there was anything wrong with your old car. I'm just stating the obvious improvement in power. As for 4 vs 6, I would think the 6 would be faster on the same platform.

The Outback originally started out as the "Legacy Outback", the only difference between the Legacy and Outback is trim, and suspension. I personally consider an outback to be a more luxury version of the Legacy with a bit of a suspension lift.
I think they should offer the Legacy with the H6, instead of just the outback. :(

Rumor has it, they're going to. They already have in Japan.

Legacy sedans in general are not a common sight in nyc. Green legacys are even more rare (mostly I see grey and black legacys). Outback sedans super rare. If you get your hands on one, you will certainly have a unique car. I'll warn you ahead of time though my car gets 17MPG max when I drive around on cruise control.

yes the damage from faulty master cyclinder wich cost me 300 to replace is only front right fender and the corner light another 50 tommorow im going to my parents house upstate where i got most of my tools and im going to take off my nex coilovers and put original suspension back on. then if i have time ill take fender off and try to bend it back out + some bondo it'll be good as new. cosmetaically im keeping the car as good looking as possible mechanically i dont have enough knowledge nor time to fix car with 270k. I live in NYC roads are as shitty as it gets i havent seen anything as bad as we have it here. the other thing is car need new/er bushings except a few that i actually changed. third i dont want to pay 1300-1500 for HG the car isnt worth that much... im basically taking off everything i may reuse wich is my speakers and coilovers and wrx rims and next week ill have a f/s post most likely if i have time well you get te point. and im gonna ask my dealer to start looking for H6 .

Green Subaru Sedans are super popular in parts of Oregon. I personally have had two Green Legacies, my BK and BE, and my mom has a green BH. :p

Same as any car - check for maintenance records, check for owners manual. If it rides nice, and doesn't bog when you get on the juice, brakes well and the steering is good, you should be fine so long as the regular maintenance is taken care of.
Running costs are slightly higher due to the specific oil filter and timing chain.
