I need to buy new front & rear top hats for my BD. A quick google search yielded no results. If someone knows where I can get these please let me know.

Also, if I am going to be replacing the strut tops, springs, and shock & struts, is there anything else I should order? Any bushings? Also I am wondering where to order new motor & tranny mounts.

If anyone knows where these parts can be ordered please let me know. Thanks!

www.subarugenuineparts.com (http://www.subarugenuineparts.com)

www.boxer4racing.com (http://www.boxer4racing.com) had them last time I checked too...

I would get the groupN mounts, they'd be a definite upgrade.

I have some group N motor mounts and also 02-03 wrx group n rear strut mounts that might work. I can double check with some 97 outback parts I have stashed in the garage. Don't worry about the tranny mount unless you are upgrading it. It probably hasn't really degraded, nor have the strut tops, unless you can see visible damage or dry rot. I pulled some off an outback with 150k miles, much of it on a washboard-y dirt road and they looked and felt like "lightly used" ones after a good cleaning.

Are you selling the motor mounts? If you are I would be interested in purchasing them from you.

Thanks for the links Mark, thats exactly what I was looking for.

I'm very fond of Boxer4Racing (I miss having a subie...I liked ordering from them). You're in Portland though...can Rallitek not get those things for you??

Well RalliTek is definetely going to install my new suspension set-up. I might end up ordering through RalliTek as well. I'm trying to find the best deals I possibly can, I feel I might find better deals thru the net (especially when going slightly used).

Here is what the plan is:
H&R sports
KYB GR2's
STi f&r top hats
STi group N motor mounts
Whiteline steering rack bushings
Whiteline 20mm rear sway bar, with new endlinks
Some other Whiteline bushings

Think about the engine mounts. If you don't mind extra noise go for it. ooberdoob has a STi pitch stop and it amplifies everything into the cabin it's nuts.

I bought Whiteline stuff from Global Performance, PDM Racing, and Never Enough Auto (eBay) - all good. I bought a tranny mount from RalliTek - great upgrade but sends alot of vibration/noise into the cabin - DO NOT GET THE RACING/HARD MOUNT - the sport/comfort one I got is harsh/noisy enough.

If Rallitek is doing your install, ask them if they will cut you a price discount on parts...

+1, I think they would, plus you'd be supporting a good Subie shop, not some joe-shmoe on eBay.

Definetely will have to do that. I hope they will, the labors a pretty penny already @ around $95 an hour.
