I found this old link I have. I don't know much about it but maybe someone here will be interested in it.

It's been around for a while, a lot of RS guys tried it out when they first came out a few years back. IIRC the dyno showed +4hp/7tq or something on a stock car w/ intake/exhaust bolt-ons. Nobody ever really figured out what it actually does to get those gains. Some suggest it does a combination of altering fuel delivery and timing but when it does it and how much :?:

Works more on the MAF based cars vs. the MAP ones. Though you may have to reset your ECU every once in a while because it does learn around it.

Also, you need to do something to the ground so you don't throw a CEL or something.

You can check RS25.com for more info and discussion about it.

Local RS owner (who is now doing an STi swap) had it on his car.

Went to a dyno (Mustang Dyno FWIW) and had the car run there.
Took the chip off, reset the ECU, ran the car again.

He made more power without the chip.
