So yesterday I was running some errands. Parked at target and got out of my car. The car next to me blew a radiator hose. It was hissing really loudly... When I realized I was wrong, and that my tire was expelling air at an alarming rate. So that sucked. I went inside bought what I needed and got to work switching out my tire for the spare. But the spare is too small. Hmmm.. I'm stuck at this point. So long story short the tire shop couldn't repair the tire because a nail got sucked into the tire and cut up the inside of the tire. So now I need 4 new tires... My friend let me borrow one of her starfish rims (15") with a tall tire. It's about almost the perfect size.

So that's the boo.

The yay is the fact that I put my new muffler on and it sounds awesome. The other yay is that I think I found a set of brand new falkens with a set of WRX wheels for $400. This means that I can run this different combo on my car for a while, sell my two good snow tires to someone. And when it's time, I can switch the falkens from the WRX wheels to the RS wheels and sell the WRX wheels to recoup the costs.

rly.

It just really sucked on thursday. I'm going to be buying the WRX wheels and tires. Not sure if I'll sell the RS wheels or the WRX wheels. The WRX ones are in better shape but a dime a dozen.

I'd keep the RS wheels...they look a lot better than the WRX wheels IMO.

+1

Also, have any sound clips of the exhaust note?

Are the Falkens winter or summers?

The falkens are an all season.

I don't have a sound clip because my friend has my digi camera, and I have a collapsed HLA that makes my motor tick really badly. I think it collapsed when we had the car up on ramps for so long, because the oil level is good. Hopefully it'll fill in soon.

Oh, and to cap off my bad luck, my hand brake release button snapped. Just outright broke in two. So now I can't set my parking brake. Gonna have to go to a junkyard or open it up and JB weld the thing.
