Best power NA for a 2nd Gen EJ22.....

Please no laughing!! I was trying to get the best power out of my 2nd Gen EJ22. Here is what I was thinking.......

1) Cold/Warm Air Intake
2) *Full exhaust (No Cats. with a Check Engine Light eliminator for the second O2 sensor.)
3) SAFC-II.
4) Shaving Heads for better Compression ratio.

*Michigan has no emission laws. Also, I know that Borla makes a header for the 2nd Gen with the single port heads, but they want like $600.00 for it!! I think that a custom header would be cheaper.

What do you guys thinK??? Thanks for the input. (And I would do a EJ20 swap if I had the money)

Shit with all that you are half way to an engine swap. Get yourself a JDM wrx swap, they are the cheapest I seen around.

You can get the borla for $300. Search nasioc for "single port header", somewhere in there is a link.

Get your cams reground to the spicy spec from deltacams and forget that head shaving business you were thinking about.

You'll see more gains with the cams and they'll probably end up costing the same with labor and all that factored it.
