Nice Legacy! How much did your plugs/wires/coil cost and how do you like it? My car is in need of plugs, wires, and a new coil and I would like to go with a nice aftermarket setup like yours but don't know if it's worth it.
How are you going to tackle your rust? I started mine, but I have to re grind, and re-primer it in the spring before I paint. I used one of those 3m metal grinders that attaches to a drill, then put some rust inhibitor on the spots that I grinded, then put some filler-primer over it.
Ninja edit - also can you feel a difference from the pulley? My car is in need of as much cheap power as possible...I am so not used to modding n/a motors. As similar as a wrx may seem, it's completely different...

Reminds me of my car!
Painting the battery tie down and pulley covers definitely makes the engine bay look a lot better
What are those wheels?
Pulled them off a 1996 impreza at a u-pull-it yard. My guess is they are alloy. One thing that might throw some people off is I painted them with wheel paint.

Haha, yeah they do look very similar.
I'm going to clean stuff up and do some painting in the spring because right now it's too cold outside to paint/clean. Except for the pulley shround which I can do in my house, but I just haven't gotten to it yet.

Looking good man! I've never seen an MSD coil pack setup like that before.

Is that hwy 17?
very nice!
Thanks...to whichever you;re tlaking about (roads or car).
Is that hwy 17?
Nah, sorry man, but you're close as 17 isn't that far away from where I live and alot of the highways here look the same. It's highway 88 which evetually connects to 81.
Well, I've got alot of mods going on my car soon, as soon as school ends friday this week.
Anyway! I need all of you to help me out, I want to re paint my alloys, What color do you guys think they should be painted? Right now they are dark gunmetalish grey, but i'm thinking about black, very black. Red seems rice to me, White might be ok, but white on white might be a bit too much...Gold is an option ,but i don't think i'd look to great on my wheels...
What color do you think would look the best? White, Black, gold, or just the same color to refresh?

Agreed, although I'm not so sure about gold on those rims. Can't really hurt to try, you can always repaint.
I still can't quite decide on the rims.
New stuff!
Pulley set.

I know, the gold one is awful...the others are pretty good though.
Thanks, I kind of like the gold thinking about how i'd look in a slightly different shade) But I think i'll go black.
Painted up my front grill and painted the awful fake chrome platic body color ,and got rid of the ghetto fabulious wire mesh...

buffing out those fogged headlights, or even some JDM headlights, would really clean up the look IMO. I like the car though. Much better with the scooped hood.

Looks better, I notice no belt on the AC. Your pulley set, are they GFB?

You're the one with the rubber boot! Was there anything special you had to do to install it or was it plug and play?
The new hood really fits the car and it really pulls the car together nicely.

I like the hood & grille!
Do you think the iginition problem has to do with your coilpack modifications?

Do you think the iginition problem has to do with your coilpack modifications?
Nope, right now i'm running it stock because i'm in the process of re wiring the msd for better insalation.
Edit:It was due to bad valve springs

If you get boot and knob out of an impreza (which is where I got mine) it's 100% plug and play

Yeah, there's no belt because the tensioner is FUBAR.
GFB?
And thanks everyone for the nice comments.
