Ok, so I was out and about putting a movie together when I saw this car and got some video of it. Talked to the owners and told them to post up on here, but they never did. So I finally found their myspace account. I have to share the pictures and will be inviting them here:

I remember reading about that, they started it in a previous gen wagon (BD?) as a Halloween set up with all the costumes and everything and it just took off from there.

I might have imagined that, but I'm 99% sure that's how it happened.

No you aren't imagining, they definately have pictures of their 98 outback wagon with the gear. It was rear ended by a semi and totaled. This is their second incarnation. Apparently they are giving some shuttle service to a local club on wednesdays.
