sorry to be a little off topic. Whats the point of the straight cut gears? Like what good do they do for you?

^ they dont explode. strait cut gears are MUCH stronger than the standard helical gears.

He hasn't taken it to the dyno on the new engine (EJ257) but the old one (EJ205) he got 330whp out of.
