hi there everyone ... just managed to get a sunny day for once and hurriedly took some camera phone pics of my car to post ... so please, excuse me for the shoddy quality of the pics :-D ...

as far as i know its "standard" and "as is from Japan" when i got it off the dealership and havent added anything else to it at this time aside from fitting my old mags and sounds stuff. but it might have been tweeked by the previous owner in Japan based on the accesories and mods that i can see and "feel" for the car.

my car specs as far as i know ...

engine:
- factory EJ20R, Twin Turbo
- heavily upgraded clutch (based on friends' and ex-gf's complaints about sore leg muscle!! )

suspension:
- unknown Jap coil-over suspension, adjustable top mounts
- unknown front tower brace (quite popular model i'd say as another friend with a GTB has the exact same one!!)
- unknown upgraded sway bars front and rear.

exterior:
- Volk Racing / Rays Engineering style wheels, 215/45/17
- "GForce" Jap-made wheel, 215/45/17
- factory body kit, hatch spoiler and bumpers
- unknown aftermarket front grill

interior:
- factory wood trim
- factory Momo airbag wheel and gear knob
- factory reclining race-type seats

sounds:
- Blaupunkt MP72 head unit
- Infinity Reference 4x110w RMS
- JBL GTO front separates
- Pioneer 2-way
- 15" Cerwin Vega VEGA! V-Flex

I wish USDM BD/BG's would have come with digital climate control

Nice Parking there
Yes, I love that car....where can I get those nice color coded beefy mudflaps? That's seriously the only kind of "body kit" I would put on my car...
Digital climate control would be nice, it would rid me of the annoying "bulbs burning out all the time" syndrome in mine.

hahaha ... thats what we call over here "Asian Parking" skills ahaha ... no offence to anyone else Asian here, coz I am infact Asian myself

those "fixed" mud flaps come standard with the turbo versions, and i think some of the non-turbo models of late ... if you look at the pic closely, the "body kit" package is the whole shizzle ... front bar, mud flaps, side moulds and rear bumper ... you would also notice towards the rear end of the side mould that its slightly flaired down as well to make the lines continous ...

as i said before, if you guys want anything JDM, just msg me and i can try and see what i can find at the wreckers ... in fact i have been doin this a bit for my cousins in Cali (they all have CRAPPY Hondas  poor souls)

thats a gr8 lookin wagon. the usdm market is so withdrawn compared to jdm.

a hookup with a digital climate control would be sweet.

Of course they do...unless its an S2000 its a piece of junk. They all seem to think that bodykits fix crappiness...(sigh)...those poor misguided souls

I do love that bodykit! I mean, I'm not big on the huge, heavy non aerodynamically sound kits that you see on stuff like Hondas ( ) but that one is subtle (and sexy!). I could go for that....hehe. How much? (I know its gonna be more than I'm willing to spend or even have, I just wanna know)

don't know ... just need to find a wreck GTB somewhere first and piece it all together ... GTB rear bumper (prolly the same as any standard Legacy bumper maybe??) will prolly cost NZ$150-NZ$200 used plus shipping, the mudflaps maybe about NZ$30-NZ$50 each, etc ...

as for the automatic climate control ... dont know if its possible to use in any other model???

You can probably take a picture of the connecters in the back and they can be compared to our USDM cars. If they're the same, they're probably a bolt on type mod. If they're not...might be tough to figure out.

Awesome GT-B! What grille is that? I'm wondering if that would fit in the USDM 97-99's with the same dip in the front bar. I've seen similar ones on ebay but it looks like there's a large gap underneath it. Any plans for modifications? Larger turbos, engine management...etc etc??

Those mud flaps would be nice for my gt side skirts and back bumper! You should see if you can find some of those for us!!

My new favorite BG on SLI. So fresh and so clean.

:EDIT: Just got rear ended today so i may want to get that rear bumper from you. Need to verify if it will fit a USDM 96 Legacy first....

The Subaru GT-B was the car I saw in Gran Turismo for the Sony Playstation back in 1996 that got me started liking Subarus. Yours is yet another example why having a GT-B as a wagon would be a pretty nifty thing.

Enjoy it every day you can, man... God bless you. The ride looks great.

Later!

Sharp wagon. The JDM Aero mudflaps are pretty slick. Which wheels is it on now, the golds or the silvers?
