I got the STi axle back I bought a couple days ago. I was dreading the $50-$70 I would have to pay to get the muffler fitted. Lucky me though, my buddy did it in shop class an did an GREAT job. It sits right where I wanted it to and has no tilt. I love the sound of the STi muffler compared to my aftermarket one and it looks 10 time better. So much more quite, but still has a sporty rumble. I will post sound clips in the next couple of days.

How does it sound compared to stock? I'm looking to do a new muffler, as mine sounds like crap. :( Though, I should probably get a new cat, and figure out why it's running rich first. =\

Compared to stock, I would say that it is only a bit louder. It has a nice rumble, but when you are in the car, you would barely guess you had an aftermarket exhaust. At high RPM's it makes a really nice sound, but it doesn't over power the sound of your engine. I would highly recommend it if you are going to be in the market for exhaust soon, but ya, get those other things checked out... :lol:
