The only problem is that there is a bit of a gap left between the grille and the bumper. Is this because it's an Outback bumper with a Legacy grille or is it because it's a USDM bumper with a JDM grille?

It's because of the outback bumper I bet. Still, it's not even that obvious from the pictures, and the tails look great!

Yeah, the Outback bumper seems to have a deeper lip for the grille. Can someone get me a dead-on picture of a BE/BH Legacy front bumper?

At any rate, a carbon fiber B4 hood should be going on within the next week or two, then it's either a JDM GT-B or Chargespeed front bumper.

And I would double check that the hood is for a Revision A,B, or C car. You are going to have issues with a Revision D hood, unless you are doing a Rev.D front end conversion...

Yep, looks like I'll need a Legacy bumper.

Did you pay a lot for the tails and grill. New or used? The car looks very nice.

Both are slightly used I believe but basically mint condition. $300 for grille, tails, and two Japanese Legacy Touring Wagon brochures.

So it looks like the JDM grills fit the BE/BH bumpers without gap, but not the Outback. There is a JDM grill on eBay right now for the BE/BH WITH emblem - just FWI. I can't buy anything else for my car until my wife returns from maternity leave - if I could buy it I would not post it (to avoid being outbid by one of you bastards :lol: ).
