I DONT KNOW HOW PRACTICAL THIS MAY BE OR WHATS INVOLVED BUT...DOES ANYONE THINK I WOULD BE ABLE TO EXCHANGE A CLUSTER FROM A 2.5 IMPREZA INTO MY 99 LEGACY 2.2? I KNOW ITS A STRETCH BUT I THINK IT WOULD BE KINDA COOL. I SUPPOSE IF I DO SO I WOULD NEED A FACTORY ELECTRICAL BOOK. ITS NEVER GOING TO BE FAST, MIGHT AS WELL LOOK GOOD!! WELL, LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

I suppose you could try, but most likely you have to completely re-wire the cluster. You may also run into problems with the Impreza guage cluster fitting in your Legacy dash and mounting correctly. MY04 STi guages would look preety cool though since they have the tach in the middle

I have tryed that and a outback one, and the gauge cluster don't fit at all you need the same yr/model cluster for it to work becuase all the time, rpm, speed, will be off

AFAIK, A good number of folks at NASIOC with Legacy Conversions have tried this and the GC Impreza years (93-01) work best with the BD/BG cluster opening. Wiring shouldn't be too bad, but can't confirm since I have yet to try.

The GD (02-present) Impreza style does indeed have a different opening and would require some fab work. Not to mention wiring.

I WANT A GC CLUSTER!!!!!!

white with the tach and speedo right in view?! uh hell yeah!

are they mechanical odometers? if so, how would i get it the same without roll-back? if i were to roll back i would have to sign a disclosure, then i'm f'ed for the real mileage from there out right?
