ok well i have a 2.2T block and i wanted to stroke it out to 2.35 with the 2.5 internals ....now from what i have read most people use 2.5 DOHC would there be any problem with using the stock 2.2T heads??? i would like to state i do not claim to be a gear head, merly an enthusiast and i am going on what i have researched so if anything i have said is wrong plz point it out to me

The 2.2l heads don't flow as well as 2.5l ones. I'd go 2.5l, however I'm fairly certain you could use either one.

I was thinking about porting and polishing the 2.2T heads would it even be worth doing this or is it just easier to get the 2.5 heads? If i go with the 2.5 heads which will work/which are best?

Go with the 2.5l heads. STi heads flow great, but are expensive, so you can probably do the NA 2.5 heads if you want, or a set of 2 litre wrx heads will work and flow almost as well.

on the 2.5 heads i heard you have to puncture a hole for the turbo oiling lines if so how difficult would this be?

Any machine shop could do it fairly easily

Definitely do that, as I will eventually be upgrading from my EJ20 to an EJ22 and using my wrx heads, and stroking it would be cool to do at the same time :cool:
