I've been looking for a brake kit for a while now and I think I've found one, i want to get new front and back caliper's because mine are rusted and I dont just want a front kit, i was looking on https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/ and came across this 2-Pot Brake kit for the back https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_68&products_id=1169 , and a 4-Pot Brake kit for the front https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_68&products_id=914, but it says its for a 1993 or older Impreza, i was just wondering if they would fit on my 1997 Legacy GT, Thanks

Yes, they will, and those are Fing nice brakes. You'll need the correct sized rotors however, and do stainless steel braided lines while you're at it. Those are the 22b two pot rears ;)

If you are on more of a budget, you can do wrx brakes as well.

Will his wheels clear 4 pots, or will he need to do a wheel/tire upgrade first?

good thinking. The stock 16" LGT wheels will not clear 4 pots.

I have a set of Outback brakes if you're interested (2-pot front, 1-pot rear). With a good set of pads and lines they're all the brake you'll ever need for the street and hold up well on the track.

Unless you NEED a lot of pistons in your brakes for something like road racing, you'll probably be better off financialy by just getting properly working factory calipers with some Hawk or EBC pads and stainless lines.

I don't mean to discourage you though - 4-pots are badass (doing RX7 4-pots on my own car as well)

well i am planning on doing a turbo swap in the near future soo i want to upgrade my brakes and everything before i do, and i have some 17's https://sl-i.net/FORUM/images/imported/2006/12/411_b-1.jpg and i think the red calipers will go really nice with them, and for the correct sized rotors should i just get the ones that come with the calipers or should i just get the calipers and get rotors somewhere else
