so the idiot before me powder coated over the fogs on my 98 legacy gt wagon. i took them out today, and upon doing so, broke the bolts off the passenger side (covered in rust). so, anybody know where to get the bracket that the fogs bolt to? i tried drilling the bolts out, but couldn't. also, if anybody knows where to find a set of used oem or jdm fogs for a reasonable price, let me know. thanks. -Josh

Why not just get a better quality set of aftermarket fogs?

well, to be honest i haven't been into this shit for a while, so i don't know what is good. i might do aftermarket ones, but from what i remember a good set will run $150+. not looking to spend quite that much.

You could get the bracket from a junkyard, or a dealer.

mine is in the same situation, the previous owner tried a DIY bumper fxing and painting and messed up my right fog light so one day i decided to take them off and try to get the paint off and Snap there goes my bolt.

As huffer said u can check a junkyard because its rare you would find a set of fogs for less than like 125.

Had the same problem with mine.... the bolts that hold the bracket on the car came off OK though... carefully, Then I just put the bracket in a vise, heated the remains of the light mounting bolts, and they came right out with vise grips. Get some new bolts, and you're set. I was thinking of aftermarket, too, but went with PIAA Ion Crystal 55=110W bulbs... work OK in the stock lights.

stealership won't separate the bracket from the foglight. i don't think he understood which one i needed though. junkyards don't have any gt's in. they said they hardly get them anyways.
