Skid Plate

I went out to my car today and started to drive. A little bit down the road I hear something dragging. I thought it was snow or that body I ran over the night before stuck in the wheel wells or cought under the car because it is lowered. After further inspection I see that my skid plate is dragging in the middle. I went home that second. By the time i got home and parked a larger piece came off in my hand. So now I need a new Skid plate. Any one know good place to get one? Also I have a Borla Header.

I only had the OEM plastic. The new Borla header was bigger than the old headers. So my question is will a new metal skid plate fit. The plastic can bend around it but not the metal.

yea they decided against it since u loose strenght by poking holes in it, baiscly they said it takes only a couple minutes to remove, but anybody could cut a hole if they wanted it.

im still not sure if they have test fitted them properly onto a legacy or not yet tho. i know phi11 was guna try to put one on his legacy, but i never heard anything about how it fit, and if it did work. i'll try talkin to em and let u know.

The GRIMMSPEED skid plate DOESN'T fit the BD.
I have the prototype at the shop.
was going to put it on the RS(bug eye), but It DOESN'T fit.
this is all because of the NA header,

and it really DOESN'T fit with the 'ebay Borla knock off header'

take a piece of sheetmetal from the hardware store and bend it up to fit. Even a cordless drill with a cheap bit will be enough to drill the bolt holes for it.

I'm currently using that since my big-ol skidplate is kind of overkill for normal roads .

No doubt. A single 6061 1/8" 2' x 2' sheet is under $60US at most suppliers. You can either order it from an online metal depot or find a local metal store ( which in my experience, will give even bigger price breaks to small one off walk in customers ) and put the single bend in yourself. Then it would allow you to make it fit, not wonder if it will. Plus, you can know for yourself your getting 6061, not some crap S318 material.

Worries are over my friends. I have bought a OEM plastic skid plate.
