That's right. A one-off VIS carbon fiber hood. Was designed as a prototype, never put into production. This thing is light! I had no idea how light carbon fiber stuff really was! Bought for $325 from a photographer for Super Street who was converting his Outback back to stock for his wife. (He also owns 3 badass Ford Mavericks and a sick new GTO) The guy was really cool. We talked cars for a while and hooked me up with some free schwag too.

Super Sex! Now do something with the wheels, maybe a dark gun metal or something to really tie the colors together.

The plan is to take the car all white on some gold 17" BBS or similar.

That hood is awesome, and at that price, it is a steal.

Time to stuff an intercooler under there to make that hoodscoop functional.

I agree. I definately like the view of the hoodscoop from the driver's seat.

Looking very nice! I dont believe I've ever seen another carbon fiber hood on a BH. I really like what you've done with the OB so far.

We talked cars for a while and hooked me up with some free schwag too.

LOL, here in Oregon, schwag can refer to a couple different things.

That's what'll do the trick for me.

This bumper coming soon, hopefully. The stealership wants $50 for the tow hook cover, eff that!

Have you tried subarugenuineparts.com? I just ordered a whole bunch of interior stuff from them, and their prices are much better than the dealership. The only tradeoff is you pay shipping, but depending on the part sometimes its worth it, especially if you order other stuff at the same time.

Yeah +1 for subarugeniuneparts. Dealership wanted $100 for valvecover gaskets et all for both sides...they sell it for $54 as a complete package

$54 included 2 valve cover gaskets, 4 sparkplug gaskets, and 10 bolt gaskets.

+1 for painting that hood white to match. never liked the look of carbon too much. just a little too conspicuous.

I dunno. I'm liking the carbon look now, but once it starts to yellow and fade, I'll probably paint it.

^^^ sort of. His is actually a one of a kind prototype. There is another member on here with the erebuni hood and the front opening is in a lower position if I remember right.

Yeah I can see a little difference now that you point it out, but to anyone trying to get that look there you go
