SPT 2.5GT exhaust on a 2.2?

I was looking into buying a new axle-back for my 2.2L BD. I was wondering if the SPT 2.5GT exhaust will work? I imagine it would fit, but just wanted to check.

yeah, should be fine. Might be a slight change in mid-pipe diameter to axleback, but nothing major.

Would this mean I'd need to buy a larger size mid-pipe, or can it be adapted to work without changing the mid pipe?
Sorry if this question comes across as trivial, I have next to no knowledge on exhausts.

The flange would bolt up and then the piping size would simply be different. No worries and no new midpipe needed. The piping on WRX and STi exhausts change diameters at the axleback as well.
