What have people done for an air splitter between the hood and intercooler after a WRX swap? Couldn't find anything in the search.
Thanks,
Malcolm

Get a JDM one.
Or, you just leave it open.

Anyone know where to get a JDM splitter? Anyone have one they are not using?

I bet the seller "JDMNZ" on ebay could hook you up.

Yea, I'd think you'd have to talk to a JDM importer for that. Or you could try and fab one up yourself, since the JDM top mount isn't the same as a usdm wrx one, so the splitter won't line up perfect anyways. I'd just leave your scoop open, enough air will get to the intercooler.
fiberglass on a wrx/sti scoop.
actually what i plan on doing, is cutting up a wrx hood. because i like the way the scoop isnt molded to the car so im going to cut about 2" of metal around the scoop and see if i can weld it into the legacy hood and hope i can get it looking right. that way i keep all the factory wrx hood scoop in working portion from the underside to the top and i can take it off if needed. and i also dont have to worry about so much fiberglass and bondo cracking. and it should look pretty factory. im just worried about the two different shapes and bends in the stock hoods, i doubt they are both pretty flat and similar.

find some suitable material at lowes/home depot and make your own ducting. easy enough to do.
