I shined her up. I had a day off so I drove to a park to snap some pics. Good thing I got the pics when I did, it rained two hours later.

That car is oh-so clean, and beastly.

But you need JDM tails and headlights to finish the look.

And power folding mirrors! You're car is exactly what I would have wanted my BD to be.

My jaw literally dropped. Amazing. Seeing as how I don't see a lick of JDM, why convert it to a JDM looking legacy? There's lots of turbo JDM legacy's. You've got a turbo USDM legacy. Boo yah japanese, boo yah.

I don't know if the crease in the mirrors are different, if that would be a clue. The shape of the mirrors are slightly different. So, I do have JDM power folding mirrors.

I'm working on headlights. I've been outbid the last two times I looked at the projectors.

I was also semi tempted to pick up a JDM rear window with wiper, but I'm not sure it is worth the trouble.

STi brakes? is it hard to do the swap?

Yes, definitely one of my faves. Being that you're in the same hometown I hope to see your car in person one day. Maybe we can do a photoshoot.

STi brakes? is it hard to do the swap?

Depends on the STi you get 'em off of. The 04 was the only STi with the same hubs as the Legacy.

You'd also need rims that clear 4 pot brakes.

This is no doubt the finest BD in the northwest! (Baker GT-T a close second)

The brakes & Volk rims look amazing. Are those CE-28N? Major props, one of my favorite aspects is the hood, the scoop is perfect!

Fronts are pretty easy to swap, it is the rear that you are going to have issues with.

The rears will require a r180 rear end conversion. The front Brembo brakes are very fat. I actually researched my rims and it was listed as they would clear Brembo's (not tested though) and after doing the swap, my rims won't clear the front brakes without 3mm spacers.

I'm still wandering on whether to swap for Stoptechs or order some wider rims and roll fenders. I was fully on the plan with ordering stoptech replacements, until I saw the Worldone time attack car. It is running 275 width rubber!!! Definate weakness in the BD's and wrx wagon's, is we are limited on tire width.

The Volks are indeed CE28N's. I saw them on a White WRX sedan and fell in love.

Here's another shot of the front Brembo's. You'll see how close they are to the rim. I was a bit concerned that under hard cornering the rims might flex and actually hit the brakes, but this weekend's auto-X event everything went great. The brakes came in pretty handy as well, as at the end of the course I could hit 3rd gear and I was coming in at about 70 or 75mph and I would have to brake real hard at the end.

Something that are pretty special about these Brembo's. I had these calipers repainted. When I sourced them on e-bay there were a few pock marks. The fellow who painted them, actually painted the Brembo logo on them with a template. They are not stickers.

Volks are pricey. I think at the time I paid $1800 new, it might have been $2k, can't recall. That is a steal, because they went up in price. I think my style rims now sell for $2600.

I'm pretty picky with style and I didn't see anything I really liked. I saw these on a white WRX and I had to have them.

Not available in 5x100 with proper offset, or else I'd of had those long ago.
