hey guys i was just wondering how low everyone was running and what size wheel/tire combo as well... just trying to help out anyone who wants a slammed car and was looking for any fitment/rubbing issues before they started experimenting

i will post up pics later but i am tucking about an inch in the front and i have eliminated all the wheel gap in the rear(Cusco Zero 2 coilovers and adjustable top hats) with -3 degrees camber in the front and -1 in the rear... stock 5 spoke rims all around(17x7 / +53 offset) wrapped with 225/45/17 Yokohama Neovas... all four corners have 5mm wheel spacers and i rolled the front fenders out about half an inch to clear... i had to bang out the inside of the front wheel wells as well to eliminate all rubbage... so far no rubbing issues to date and im thinking about lowering it about another half inch all the way around

heres an old pic with stock suspension:

post your rides up!!

Very interesting post, may I ask why you're running the spacers? You should be able to lose the spacers and have everything clear no problem, without having to hack your fenders up.

-3 camber is ridiculous. Say goodbye to those tyres in a short while.

Don't know why you need spacers when you've flared the fenders, and you have fully adjustable coilovers. You should have plenty of suspension travel and the ability to keep them under the fender even while cornering.

If not, you need bigger swaybars to control your body roll more.

i disagree- it depends on how you drive. Funny thing is that with that car slammed like that it's still not enough.

best help for anyone who wants a slammed car is to talk them out of it.

dropped ~.5" on rs front springs. currently on 205/50/16 with no rub.
0 camber in the rear rubs w/o rolling the fenders though.

How about lowered but not slammed?

I'm running stock with stock, but I was getting rubbing with 16X7 ET40 wheels...

Running 14's with stock springs and Kyb Gr2's. I don't think i'd ever want my car lowered beyond 1 in.

(not missing lug nuts, just two are black.)

i had problems with the tires rubbing the inner fender well(mostly b/c of all the camber i am running) so i took a hammer to it and threw some spacers in there to not only help that but to move the wheels out a bit so they didnt look so "sunk in"... -3 degrees isnt too rediculous considering i will be tracking the car a lot and i need the extra grip up front... and contrary to popular belief- camber isnt the main cause of the inside of the tire wearing quicker... if your car is aligned properly the inside wear will only be minimal compared to the outside... the problem comes when you have lots of camber and your toe is all out of wack

oh and i have an awesome connection here with a guy that sells tires... ive been getting a lot of great deals for guys in the shop here... id hook you guys up but the added cost of shipping would bring the price back up to what youre already paying... i just got this full set of Advan Neova's for $100  ... thats at least a 1/4 of the price that most people pay

235/40/17's on 17x8's, lowered about 5" over stock on Flex's......rear fenders rolled and flared, front fenders stock, no rubbing, ever.

https://sl-i.net/FORUM/images/imported/2006/09/DSCF3326JPG-1.jpg

And.....205/55/16's on 16x7's, lowered about 4.5" over stock (as near as I can tell, never had stock suspension, also on Flex's; rear fenders rolled slightly, no rubbing in back.......front fenders rolled and "autoflared" by the previous owner's sister-in-law who doesn't understand that full lock over bumps in a car that's layed out is a bad idea......it doesn't rub the fender, but it tears the living crap out of the fender liner, and I'll probably chuck them and lift the car about 1/2" in front to even out the stance and keep it from plowing as bad.

Rear is 15x8 -19 with 5x114.3 bolt pattern (from Nissan 300ZX) with 225-50-15 on them dropped on modified WRX coilovers.

Front is GM 15x7 +30-ish with 205-50-15.

In this picture both front and rear are about 3.5" from the ground at the rocker panels and both front and rear are pulled and rolled about 1.5"-2"

With what I've done to adjust roll center to retain proper geometry when lowering, I can accually set the chassis on the ground before I run out of adjustment on the coilovers.

...Not that this has much bearing on other Subarus, but I thought I'd share anyway

Suspensions: Whiteline Flatouts with gc AGX
Tires: 225/45/17

Rubbing rear passenger side fender (already rolled a bit) only when I have more than 1 passenger. Whiteline camber bolts on their way, hoping that will help.
