They might - if they are the 5x100 lug pattern.
06+ is definitely 5x114 lug pattern.

Nope, 04 is the only STi with 5x100

Yea, you'll need 04 STi wheels. they went to 5x114 in 05

As noted already, only the '04 STi wheels will fit. I test fit a set of them on my BD a couple years ago and took some pics if you're interested in what it looks like:

I know of a place where you can get refurbished/remanued STi wheels for about $800 a set. Not sure of the quality or anything... PM if interested.

if you have to, you can get conversion kits to go from 5x100 to 5x114.3

there's someguy on ebay who does them for USD$100 for the set. pm me if u can't find the link.

Just watch NASIOC or other impreza forums and ebay.... 04 STi wheels show up on a semi regular basis.

It's intended for weight savings more than anything. Personally I'd paint my CF hood to make it look stockish.

ya, 6MTizzle, over on MNsubaru has a STI & legacy BD,
during the winter, he put his STI rims on the BD, very hot.

Forget it. I sank $1000 and bought that CF hood from iON, and less than a year later it catastrophically failed on the upper deck of an urban highway when I caught some 50 mph gust of wind. The whole top of it separated from the frame and flew over the roof of the car. Needless to say I had to go buy another hood - this time a stock GT hood.
