Thanks again for all the responses.
Long story short, I fixed it once with coil and wire, then put in plugs after it acted up again. Fixed, beautiful, great.
Nope, happened again!
So after checking the code and finding misfire on cyl. 3, I pulled the plugs to find...the p.o.s. Bosch plugs I bought were the cause. They were $3 each platinum plugs that I opted for when I should have stuck with NGK's.
Anyway, the top connection above the ceramic where the wire actually touches was SCREW-ON? Has anyone seen that before? I had no idea and the things loosened themselves and weren't firing. So put in new NGKs and no issues since. Did a nice full Seafoam job, It's happy again.

This has nothing to do with that issue, but it's a good repair story.
So I'm in Virgina last weekend for a wedding (I live in upstate NY) and driving back from the reception to the hotel car starts to overheat.
F'ing great.
So I limp it back to the hotel lot and figure I'll deal with it in the morning.
Sunday morning I end up in AutoZone's lot on my back putting a thermostat in and flushing the heater core. (After a few different ideas, I noticed no heat meant no hot water, meant no circulation.) I had to backflush the core first then bleed the system of air that kept holding up in the heater core and get the flow going like 4 time before I could get it to cool correctly. thankfully I made it home that evening without any issues.
Fun weekend!
