1) ok I put a 04 stx 6 disc indash in and below the on/off switch there is the word bright ? dont seem to do anything.

2) in my fuse box there is a fuse for heated seat but there is no swich ?

bright - your illumination wire not hooked up.

heated seat fuse but no switch - means no heated seats. What? You think they will rebuild an entire new fuse panel because some chap bastard didn't want arse warmers?! LOL

well I understand that but why would it have the fuse and all normal hookups so it "seems" functional and just be a blank

because other accessories will be powered off of it also. IF they were to put a fuse in for every single accessory there would be well over 100 fuses. But some can quite happily run through other fuses.

if you pull that fuse you might find that something will stop working. Don't know what but something will.

It could be your powered mirrors?

It was blown I replced it and nothing changed.

when mine was blown I lost my heated seats (obviously), my power mirrors, heated mirrors and heated windshield. There was something else but I don't remember what it was.

could the rear window defroster switch activate the seat at the same time ? on anouther car I had it worked on the RWD and the heated mirrors.

anyways wth i'm sure something works now :-?

No, it wouldn't. The heated seats have their own switch...you don't have heated seats.
