The sedan reminds me of the current Corolla, and the hatch is almost like the Mazda 3...lol :roll:

The interior looks alot better in that two tone. Those wheels are so blah. For a "performance sedan"

The WRX wheels are the same ones they've used the past two years...

You're looking at the Impreza wheels. Note that most of those pictures aren't the WRX.

It's so awful *tear*

The taillights are horrendous, I think the interior is ugly, and the front end looks like something you'd get when you rent a car, and not from a nice rental place.

I know. Check those wheels out. Same as the 06-07 WRX wheels.

edit: I take it back: they're the exact same spoke design, with 3 more spokes.

I do like that interior, and the new integrated wrx hood scoop. Throw out the rest of the car though. I am big-time hating on the chrome taillights. I HATE chrome taillights.

good jesus man! that sedan isnt TOO bad.. but that hatch / wagon creature.. *puke*.. i dont think i would buy either of them.. they look wicked cheap!

Exactly! In the old days, chrome was Metal and represented quality and luxury, and in general looked cool, but now it's just cheap plastic and cliche'.

The Mitsubishi dealer by school just got a whole bunch of standard lancer ES's in. They look like a really, really pissed off BD legacy with the tri-star badge.

EWWW. The hatch has the Mazda 3 thing going. The sedan screams Corolla to me, or even TSX wannabe. I'm not a big fan of the '08 Legacy either :oops:

I'd take the new EVO over a WRX or even an STi any day. Sad

the new mazda 6......... i mean impreza might be fun to drive but personally i would not be caught dead in a car that is fun to drive but hard to look at.

Heh, Mitsubishi seems to have it going for them right now. I'd rather buy a Maxima over a new Impreza... And yeah, even if it performs super awesome, I still wouldn't buy one. Maybe if it looked more like a RS Coupe...

everytime i look at the pics of the new interiors, i go out and sit in the mazda3 rental i have and its so scary how similar they are... Not to mention the tailights on the mazda suv (can remember the name of it ) look exactly the same as those on the hatch....

i'll take pics of this 07 mazda interior before i get my car back today... (thank god, i was starting to like this thing... :-? )

As much as I HATE to admit it, the wind noise is so terrible I'll deal with losing the coolness of opening the door with the window down. :roll:

Yeah, I've done that.

But there's still noise cancelation, and quite honestly, I'd rather fight fire with water, not more fire.

Really, keeping things the way they are for the sake of tradition is the way good companies lose business and eventually go under. Subaru has to be more mainstream because of what ford is doing with AWD (not that it's better, Ford is just more well known).

You're right, the roof rack can cause wind noise.

But the doors also do cause a heck of a lot of noise. I just don't have my crossbars on if I'm not using them, so I don't have to deal with half of that noise.
